A community paper for Alexandria and Glengarry, in print, online and on the podcast.
Larchline reports on Glengarry County, Cornwall, Maxville, Hawkesbury and the lower Ottawa Valley, and keeps a growing archive of the stories and episodes behind it. Advertisers book a place inside that ongoing record, at a fixed rate, for a fixed run.

How we keep placements consistent
Every placement runs on a fixed schedule that we set out in writing before the run begins, and we send a short summary once it ends. Artwork goes through the same review step each time, whether it's a first booking or a renewal.
We don't promise a result from a placement — only that it will appear where and when we said it would, for the length of time you paid for. That's the whole of what a listing or a segment credit is.
Rings, not spikes
The archive rail above the masthead marks each year Larchline has published in. A placement sits inside that record for its run, then moves into the archive alongside the stories from that period — it doesn't disappear the day the run ends.
About the pricing
Each price on this page covers the placement exactly as described: the format, the run length and the deliverables listed with it. There are no undisclosed add-ons and no tiers beyond the three shown here. If your organization wants something that combines elements of more than one option, get in touch and we'll talk through what's realistic.
Payment is arranged when a booking is confirmed. Full detail on cancelling or requesting a refund is in our refund policy and the longer cancellation and refunds page.
Who reads Larchline
Larchline is read by people who live and work across Glengarry County and the surrounding area — Alexandria, Cornwall, Maxville, Hawkesbury and communities along the lower Ottawa Valley. The site and the podcast follow council meetings, school and minor-hockey seasons, local business openings and closings, and the small stories a county paper is built on.
We don't publish audience or listener figures, and we won't invent any here. What we can tell you is where the placement sits, for how long, and what the deliverables are — that's the whole of what you're buying.
