Most asked

Q: What areas do you cover? Alexandria and Glengarry County, with regular coverage in Cornwall, Maxville, Hawkesbury and the lower Ottawa Valley.

About the placements

What exactly is included in each placement?

The Archive Page Placement is a logo and single line on our article archive pages for 30 days. The Then and Now: Glengarry sponsorship is a two-month run of credits and a host read on our monthly history segment. The Growth Rings Package combines rotating page placements, newsletter credits, podcast mentions and one photo essay over two months. Each is described in full on our advertising page.

What area does a placement reach?

Larchline covers Alexandria and Glengarry County closely, with regular reporting into Cornwall, Maxville, Hawkesbury and the lower Ottawa Valley. Placements appear within that same coverage — we don't sell placements into other markets.

What format does artwork need to be in?

A PNG, JPG or vector logo file works for most placements. For a segment sponsorship we'll ask for a short script instead, which you approve before it airs.

How long does each placement run for?

The Archive Page Placement runs 30 days. The segment sponsorship and the Growth Rings Package both run two months. Run lengths are fixed and don't extend automatically at the end.

Process & scheduling

How do I start a booking?

Use the contact form in the booking section of our home page, or call the office directly. Tell us which placement you're interested in and we'll take it from there.

What happens after I send the first message?

We reply, usually within one business day, to confirm run dates, the price and what artwork or copy we'll need from you before the placement can go live.

How much lead time do you need?

For an Archive Page Placement, a few business days is usually enough. For a segment sponsorship, we ask for at least two weeks so the script can be reviewed and approved before recording.

Can I reschedule once a run is booked?

Yes — get in touch before your run starts and we'll find a new slot where one is available.

Pricing & payment

What do the listed prices include?

Each price covers the full placement as described on our advertising page: the format, the run length and the deliverables, including the one included artwork update where it applies. There are no extra add-on fees for a standard booking.

When is payment due?

Payment is arranged once a booking is confirmed and before the run begins. We'll set out the details in writing before asking for payment.

What if I need to cancel or ask for a refund?

Our refund policy and the longer cancellation and refunds page set out the windows and how to request one. Our cancellation policy covers rescheduling and cancellations from our side.
